V A P O R D E G R E A S I N G Solvent vapors resulting from boiling solvent are utilized to clean parts of heavy oils and greases. Parts are positioned in the vapor zone; the solvent vapors condense on the cooler parts and flush the surface free of contaminants. When parts are removed from the vapor zone through the vapor-air interface, the solvent flashes off the surface and leaves the surface dry and clean.
